Welcome to Catherine McAuley College Mackay
Catherine McAuley College is a Catholic co-educational school that welcomes and supports all students. We began our journey with our first cohort of Year 7 students in 2022 and will grow into a full Year 7 to 12 college by 2027. We honour our past while looking ahead to an exciting future – building on a tradition of faith, innovation, and intellectual endeavour.
AGE CHAMPIONS
Recently we congratulated our Athletics Carnival Age Champions.
Each student received a trophy handmade by Mr Jacobson & Mr Azzopardi made from the internal hardwood timbers from one of the College's original buildings.
Congratulations to Caelan, Emma, Nina, Oliver S, Madison, Oliver H, Lily, Winston S, Ellyana, Winston G, Roc & Tayla.

SCHOOL SURF LEAGUE
Last Friday, we took a team of students to the Secondary School Surf League at Sarina Beach. All high schools in Mackay were invited to compete in swimming, board paddling, iron person, sprints and flags races.
Our team gave it their all against the competition, Whitsunday Anglican School, Mackay North High, Northern Beaches High and St Patrick's College. An outstanding effort, particularly in the team events, saw us come away with the overall win.
Congratulations and well done to all the students and staff involved!
