Welcome to Catherine McAuley College Mackay
Catherine McAuley College is a Catholic co-educational school that welcomes and supports all students. We began our journey with our first cohort of Year 7 students in 2022 and will grow into a full Year 7 to 12 college by 2027. We honour our past while looking ahead to an exciting future – building on a tradition of faith, innovation, and intellectual endeavour.
CBSQ BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Congratulations to our basketball teams on their efforts at the CBSQ Basketball Championships on the Gold Coast!
Both teams competed strongly against quality opposition throughout the tournament. The junior boys finished third in their pool, recording four wins from seven games, while the open boys continued to improve with each game and finished their campaign on a high with a well-earned victory on the final day.
We are proud of the determination and sportsmanship shown by all players as they represented the College.

EISTEDDFOD 2026
Congratulations to McAuley Momentum (Band) and McAuley Pulse (Drum Corps), who both achieved 3rd place in their divisions at this years Eisteddfod.
And to McAuley Voices (Choir), who placed 3rd in the Australian and Own Choice section. This achievement was made even more impressive by the choir performing the most challenging piece they have tackled to date.
Most importantly, all students performed exceptionally well, represented the College with pride, and should be proud of their dedication, hard work and outstanding performances.
